Question: What is the difference between the various types of paper?

Answer A: Vanilla Paper:

We recommend Vanilla Paper for all sweet cakes, pastries, and other treats. It is easy to use, flexible enough to wrap around a cake, adheres well, and is easy to handle—no additional gels required. Vanilla paper has a light vanilla scent that is usually not noticeable on the cake. Its taste is neutral and not overly sweet, making it an ideal covering edible material. Our vanilla paper is specially produced for our customers in Scandinavia and also for Slovakia, with high-quality food coloring used by Fotkynatorty.sk. The paper works well with creams (the best choice is buttercream). We recommend applying it to the cake 1–2 hours before serving so that it adapts perfectly to the surface. A cake with an edible image can also be frozen, and vanilla paper can be used on various desserts, drinks, or ice cream cakes. It is also suitable for decorating gingerbread cookies using sugar paste or chocolate. Instructions for edible cut-outs are available in the product descriptions. Available in various sizes.

Answer B: Wafer Paper:  Wafer paper is a hard, flat edible paper that doesn’t bend. We offer it in thin and thick versions. Thin wafer paper is a basic material and slightly translucent; for a better visual effect, we recommend thick wafer paper. Wafer paper is not crunchy like waffle cones but is suitable for various decorations or savory pastries. Colors are less vibrant, and the surface is not so smooth. It requires careful handling, as it can break if bent. When placed on a cake, the image absorbs moisture and brightens the colors. For a first-time experience, we recommend the higher-quality Vanilla Paper.

Answer C: Chocolate Transfer and Sugarstamp Images for Meringues - These are not edible products! They are printed on a plastic sheet and transferred onto tempered chocolate or meringues. The sheet is not consumable.

Question: Which delivery method should I choose?

Answer: We offer various delivery options. For postal deliveries, we recommend prompt pickup, especially if your mailbox is situated outdoors, to prevent material freezing in winter or melting in summer. You can choose express delivery by Slovak Post (first class) or courier service. We will help you to choose the best option.

Question: In what format should files be sent?

Answer: Send attachments in .JPG, .PNG, .TIFF, .GIF, or .PDF formats. Files from Microsoft Office may affect image quality, so we recommend saving text and images as a .PDF.

Question: What is the delivery time for orders?

Answer: Orders are shipped daily by Slovak post office:  at 3:00 PM and by GLS courier by max. 12:00 PM. If ordered before these times, it will be shipped the same business day.

Question: Can a round edible image be made from my photo?

Answer: All images can be edited graphically, but sometimes trimming the edges may be necessary. We offer free and fast graphic editing tailored to your preferences. Please specify any preferences in advance; otherwise, free editing is not covered by the warranty. However, our skilled designers always adjust images to the highest possible quality.

Question: I couldn’t find a suitable image in your catalog.

Answer: We constantly update our catalog. If you can’t find an image, send us your own design/photo, or we can create a custom one for you. Contact our Customer Service.

Question: How long does an edible image last?

Answer: Edible images can be stored in a sealed bag, protected from sunlight and frost, for ½ to 2 years. Always check that the bag is well closed. We recommend pre-cutting edible cut-outs or muffin edible images for long-term storage.

Question: What if my order didn’t arrive to mailbox?

Answer: If you haven’t received an order confirmation, check your spam folder or ensure you entered the correct email address. You can also contact us.
